Friends of Journalism & Mass Media Studies
The Friends of Journalism & Mass Media Studies provides unique opportunities for its alumni members including:
- promoting social enjoyment among its members
- cultivating professional networking and advancement among the organization and among students in journalism and media studies majors and closely allied student organizations
- supporting and improving the quality and availability of education in these fields of study at SDSU through the funding of equipment, programs, and scholarships
- encouraging friendly communication among members and those with whom they come in contact in the pursuit of chapter support
- providing all of the usual privileges and advantages of an alumni organization
